Cookie Policy
Last updated 15 July 2026
This Cookie Policy explains the cookies photowallah uses. In short: we use one essential cookie to keep you logged in, and nothing for advertising or cross-site tracking.
1. The cookie we use
- bs_session — a strictly necessary session cookie set after you log in. It stores a random session identifier (not your password) so the Service knows you are signed in. It is httpOnly (not readable by page scripts) and is sent only to this site. It expires after a period of inactivity or when you log out.
We do not use advertising, marketing, analytics, or third-party tracking cookies.
2. Why it's needed
Because bs_session is essential to authentication, the Service cannot keep you logged in without it. For that reason it does not require consent under most cookie rules, which exempt strictly necessary cookies.
3. Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. If you remove or block the bs_session cookie, you will be logged out and unable to sign in until it is allowed again.
4. More information
For how we handle personal data more broadly, see our Privacy Policy. Questions? Email privacy@photowallah.com.
